About Me

Welcome to Grade 6!

As an educator, I aspire to maximize student performance, promote independence and facilitate communication between students, families and team members. My philosophy is that every child can learn and be successful within a supportive, nurturing environment. Through self-discovery activities and differentiated instruction, students will be provided with a curriculum that will challenge, inspire and prepare them for the future. I am passionate, patient and committed to meeting the needs of each student to ensure success in their growing educational journey.

Background Information:
Beyond the classroom, I am a mother of two fun, energetic children! We enjoy spending time together, reading and traveling.

Aside from working towards a certificate in Autism and Behavioural Sciences, I also hold a Masters in Science of Education and a Bachelors in Arts and Sciences. My additional certifications include: Non-violence Crisis Prevention and Intervention, Steps in Early Identification of Developmental Delays, and American Sign Language.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Good communication is the bridge between confusion and clarity. -- Nat Turner
